  • pine cones - 90, green
  • water - 12 1/2 cups (3 liters)
  • sugar - 6 1/5 cups (1.5 kg)
  • citric acid - 1 1/2 tsp

How to cook

Select young, green pine cones. Wash the cones well and halve them.

Put them to boil in water until the liquid is reduced by half. Leave it to stand for 24 hours.

Strain and add the sugar to the same water. Again, put to boil for about 10-15 minutes after boiling.
