"Not just ice cream but homemade Nougat Ice Cream which... well, just try it and you`ll understand."

Ingredients

  • cream - 4/5 cup (200 ml.) confectionery
  • eggs - 4
  • sugar - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • hazelnuts - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 g)
  • walnuts - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 g)
  • jam - 1 small jar of green figs (about 150 g)
  • raisins - 2 2/3 tbsp (40 g)
  • topping - optional, for garnish

How to cook

Caramelize the nuts with 2-3 tablespoons of the sugar. Pour them onto greased foil. Allow to cool, transfer them to a plastic bag and crush them.

Beat the egg yolks well and mix them with raisins and jam. Separately, beat egg whites to hard snow with the remaining sugar.

Beat the cream and gently mix in the whites, yolks and caramel. Spread the mixture in a suitable form and put it in to freeze.

When serving the nougat ice cream, cut it into pieces and serve decorated with berries.
