Ingredients

  • lamb meat - 26.5 oz (750 g)
  • potatoes - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • onions - 1 head
  • carrots - 2 - 3
  • parsley - 1 bunch
  • black pepper - to taste
  • salt - to taste

Preparation

Cut the lamb meat into pieces. Dice the carrots and onions finely. Pour the oil in a tray, place the chopped vegetables and lamb meat on top.

Salt and pour on warm water - enough to cover the meat and veggies (water level needs to be 3/4″ (2 cm) above them). Bake the dish in a moderate oven until meat softens.

Add the peeled and chopped potatoes and bake another 15 min. or so. Serve the lamb meat, sprinkled with black pepper and finely chopped parsley.find similar recipes here
