How to make
Chop the potatoes into slices, as thinly as possible - 3/64 (1 mm) . Smear a microwaveable plate with a few drops of oil and spread it out all over.
Dry the chopped potato slices onto paper towels, arrange them in the plate, salt and turn microwave on for 5 min.
After that time has elapsed, you can check to see if they've reddened. Everything depends on your microwave oven and how thick you've cut them. Mine were ready in 8 min.
Don't cut them with a peeler because they stick to the plate and can't be unstuck. I tried several methods before I found the right one.
Don't salt them ahead of time either because the salt will moisten them again! Bon appetit!
