"These light and fluffy pancakes are a real American classic. What could be better for breakfast than fluffy pancakes with homemade fruit syrup, jam or feta cheese?"

Ingredients

  • eggs - 2
  • flour - 2 cups
  • oil - 2 tablespoons oil or melted butter
  • milk - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • sugar - 2 tablespoons
  • salt - 1/4 tsp

How to cook

Beat the eggs with the sugar and add some of the flour with the baking powder, oil, sugar, salt and remaining flour.

Gradually, add the milk, beating with a whisk. Don't whip too long - once the products are homogenized, stop stirring. Heat a Teflon pan, lightly grease it, and pour in a ladle of the mixture.

Do not spread the pancake mixture out. As soon as they get some bubbles on top, flip them.

Garnish the pancakes with a sweet or savory filling of your choice.
