Ingredients

  • butter - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • sugar - 4/5 cup (180 g)
  • lemons - 1
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • eggs - 4
  • flour - wheat 1/2 cup (125 g)
  • baking powder - 1/2 packet
  • almonds - 1/3 cup (80 g) sweet + 1 tbsp (15 g) bitter
  • dried fruits - 9 oz (250 g)
  • brandy - 1 tsp

Preparation

Beat the butter, sugar, salt and grated lemon rind into froth. Add the eggs one by one and then, the cognac.

Sift the flour with baking powder and mix with the dried fruits. Mix everything gently.

Bake the cake in a greased and dusted with flour cake pan in a preheated oven for about 45 minutes.
