Ingredients

  • puff pastry - 17.5 oz (500 g)
  • walnuts - 2 cups ground
  • eggs - 1 - 2
  • sugar - 1/2 cup
  • vanilla - 2 powders
  • for the syrup
  • sugar - 3 cups
  • water - 3 - 4 cups
  • vanilla - 1 packet

How to cook

Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla and add the chopped walnuts. Mix well. Spread the puff pastry out and divide it into 2 equal parts. Spread walnut mixture in the middle of each of the rectangles and roll them up.

Cut the rolls into two more small rolls. Arrange in a baking dish and put to bake in a preheated oven.

When ready, heat up the syrup and cover the baklava bites with it, they need to be well soaked.

It's best to eat them the next day.
