  • eggs - 1
  • oil - 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • water - 3/4 cup
  • milk - 1/4 cup
  • yeast - the size of a walnut
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • flour - enough to make a complete absorption
  • cheese - 10.5 oz (300 g) crumbled for stuffing
  • sugar - 2 tablespoons, spreads


Knead dough from a little flour and yeast dissolved in warm water, milk, egg, oil, 1 tsp sugar and a pinch of salt.

Allow to rise under cover in a warm place. The dough is rolled out into a large crust, a few millimeters thick. Using a bowl, cut out circles. Each is brushed with oil, put in the middle cheese and fold it in 2, then press the edges well.

Arrange the pastries in an oiled pan and let them rise again. Spread with beaten yolk or cream and put them to bake in a preheated moderate oven until golden.
