Ingredients

  • potatoes - 4
  • carrots - 3
  • milk - 1 cup high percentage
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • oil - about 4 tablespoons
  • paprika - 2 pinches
  • croutons - to garnish

How to cook

Peel the potatoes, cut them small and scrape and slice the carrots. Pour the vegetables in a pan and add hot water to cover them and 2 fingers on top.

Allow the vegetables to soften and add a fine stream of oil. Remove from heat and blend in a little pre heated milk.

Granny’s soup is spruced up with spices to taste and served with croutons.
