Ingredients

  • eggs - 2 yolks
  • milk - 1 cup
  • warm water - 2 cups
  • butter - 2 tablespoons melted butter, or margarine
  • yeast - 1/2 cube
  • flour - 5 - 6 cups

Preparation

Dissolve the yeast in cool milk, then add the beaten yolks. Add the other products in the following order - water, butter, 4 cups of flour.

Stir the mixture, then allow it to rise about 20-30 min. Then add the other 2 cups flour. You're going to get a dough that is slightly thicker than pancake batter, leave it to rise for 20 minutes and in a trickle, pour in the hot oil and fry until golden.
