Beat all the ingredients for the cake layer with a mixer.
Transfer mixture to an oiled and floured cake form. Bake at 356°F (180 °C) about 25-30 min.
For the cream, boil the milk with the sugar. Add the flour diluted in the water. Boil the cream until thickened.
Remove from the stove, add the vanilla and butter. Caramelize the sugar to make the syrup.
Pour in the water and stir until the caramel melts completely. Cut the baked and cooled cake layer horizontally into 3 equal parts.
Syrup them with the syrup, sprinkle each generously with ground walnuts, bind them together with the cream.
Cover with cream on top.
Sprinkle with ground walnuts on the top and sides.
