Make your own Homemade Apple Cider Vinegar when there's an abundance of apples on the market. Fill 3/4 of a 12 1/2 cups (3 L) jar with washed and chopped into pieces apples.
In a bowl of water, stir the sugar and honey, add them to the jar. Pour in boiled water that's cooled to cover the fruits, close the opening with a gauze or cheesecloth, tighten with a rubber band.
You need to obtain a Mother of vinegar, then you have to stir 1-2 times a day for 7 days with a wooden spoon. Leave as is and strain after 6 weeks.
Store the Mother of vinegar in the fridge - you can use it for your next batch of vinegar by adding it to the above listed ingredients. When you add Mother of vinegar the vinegar becomes ready faster. The liquid will be murky but that's normal.
After 10 days you'll see residue as well, strain again and there's your Apple Cider Vinegar.
If you leave it for a year it will clear up but who can wait that long? Use it for cooking, medicinal recipes, to lower blood pressure and burn fat.
