How to cook
Soak the beans overnight in water to swell.
Dice the tomatoes. Chop the peppers finely. Cut the onions and carrots into round slices.
Put all the veggies in a clay pot. Add the beans and pork trotters.
Season with the spices and pour in water.
Bake in a 356°F (180 °C) oven. If needed, pour in a little more vegetable broth during baking.
