Beat the margarine with the wine (make sure they're both at the same room temperature).
Add the sugar, sifted flour in small portions. Knead a soft and smooth dough.
Roll it out thinly. Cut out identical rectangles from it.
Put jam at one end and roll them up carefully into cigars.
Arrange the prepared cigars into a tray with baking paper.
Bake the lean cigars in a moderately preheated 356°F (180 °C) oven until they turn a nice pink color.
While still warm, roll the Lean Cigars with Jam in powdered sugar.
