"A marvelous dessert that can become even more marvelous with a little added chocolate, biscuits or fruits."

Ingredients

  • milk - 4 1/5 cups (1 liter)
  • sugar - 1 ½ cups
  • eggs - 5
  • gelatin - 5 sheets
  • cream - 1 ½ cups liquid
  • starch - 1 to 2 tablespoons

How to cook

Boil the milk with sugar and pull it from the heat. While stirring constantly, add the 5 beaten eggs to it. Add the gelatin as well, which you've soaked according to package directions and melted over low heat.

Finally, add the starch diluted in a little water and put the cream to boil in a water bath. Stir constantly until it thickens. Remove from the heat, cover with foil to prevent it from catching a crust and let it cool. Meanwhile, beat the liquid confectionery cream to fluffy snow.

Add it to the other cream once it has cooled, in portions, while stirring gently. This white cream can be served with fruit, nuts, jam, chocolate.
