How to cook
Cut the fish into pieces, salt and wash them with fresh lemon juice. Put it to rest for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Slice the onion and carrots and put them to fry in preheated oil. Season with black pepper, bay leaf, allspice, crushed garlic and salt. Top with some warm water and transfer the vegetables to the pan.
Arrange the pieces of white fish and put them to bake in a moderately preheated oven. Towards the end, beat the egg with the yogurt and flour and pour over the baked fish.
Allow to bake until it gets a golden tan on top. Serve a portion of white fish lightly chilled, decorated with chives.
