Pre-soak beans for 1 night and the next day, boil them with turmeric, salt and chili. Fry in hot oil, add onion and crushed ginger and garlic.
Add tomato paste, coriander powder, cumin, 1/2 tsp garam masala and turmeric.
Finally add the beans. Serve this vegetarian curry with red beans on a bed of cooked rice and garnish with fresh coriander.
