  • turkey - 1
  • sauerkraut - 28 oz (800 g)
  • onions - 1 head
  • rice - 2/3 cup (150 g)
  • spearmint - 1 tablespoon
  • black pepper - 1 tsp
  • salt
  • oil - 2 tablespoons


Wash the turkey well after removing the innards. Pour oil in a pan, add the finely chopped onions.

Chop the set aside liver into cubes, add them to the onions, along with the rice, as well as the spearmint, black pepper, salt.

Saute everything until the rice turns glassy.

Fill the turkey with the prepare stuffing, sew closed with strong thread. Chop the sauerkraut and put it along the bottom of the tray.

Place the turkey in the middle on top, bake in the oven at the highest setting at first, then on low heat until it's fully ready.

During baking, you have to turn the turkey over twice, so it can bake evenly on all sides.
