"A unique tasty cake with lots of walnuts and Turkish Delight"

Ingredients

  • yogurt - 1 2/3 cups (400 g)
  • sugar - 1 1/2 cups
  • flour - 3 cups
  • oil - 1 1/2 cups
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • lemons - 2 tbsp, grated lemon rind
  • walnuts - 1 cup crumbled
  • turkish delight - 5.5 oz (150 g)
  • powdered sugar - 2 tbsp

How to cook

Dissolve the baking soda well in the yogurt and beat it with the sugar. Add the oil and flour, while continuously beating. Add the grated lemon rind and vanilla to the mixture.

Pour the mixture into a greased and floured oven dish. Sprinkle the top with finely chopped Turkish delight and crumbled walnuts.

Bake the cake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven. Serve the Greek cake with Turkish delight dusted with powdered sugar.
