How to cook
Cut the well cleaned boar meat into steaks, rub them with salt and pepper and arrange them in a greased pot. Pour over the wine and let it sit sit while you're cutting vegetables or a bit longer, if you have time.
If desired, add the sliced potatoes to the pot, mushrooms or any other vegetables your heart desires. Generously season with spices and salt and cover, put the casserole to bake at 428°F (220 °C) for about 2 - 2.5 hours. You simply have to have it with red wine.
