Shape balls of dough and arrange them in an oven dish.
In each ball, place one nut, brush with egg yolk and put to bake in a preheated 302°F (150 °C) oven for about 45 minutes. In the meantime, prepare the sugar syrup, which has to cool completely.
Boil the sugar syrup for 15 minutes and finally mix it with the lemon juice. Pour the cooled sugar syrup over the sheqerpare immediately.
Serve with chopped nuts and garnish with whipped cream if desired.
