How to cook
Grind the beef and season it with spices to taste. Leave it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours, covered with foil. Shape the dough into 6 flat patties and broil them on a greased pan.
After flipping them over and when they are almost done, put a piece of gouda on each burger. Turn the heat off. Halve the buns, put some lettuce leaves in them, top with 2 patties with gouda, onion rings on top, a little ketchup, mustard and tomato and press down with the top bun.
Serve the double cheeseburgers with some more mustard and ketchup immediately. If desired, add mayonnaise.
