Ingredients

  • sugar - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • milk - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • eggs - 1
  • jam - 1 cup
  • walnuts - 1/2 cup ground
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • powdered sugar - to sprinkle

Preparation

Beat the eggs with the sugar, add the oil, and jam, mixed with the milk ahead of time. The milk in this recipe can be substituted with 2 finely grated apples.

Add the chopped walnuts, baking soda, cinnamon and enough flour to get the density of a cake dough. Pour the mixture into greased and floured cake mold and bake in a preheated oven at 392°F (200 °C).

Sprinkle the ready cake with jam with powdered sugar.
