Halve the avocados, remove the pits and dig out the insides. Cut the avocado pulp. Combine it into a food processor/blender with the sugar, lime juice, grated rind and half the cream. Blend well.
Beat the remaining cream to thicken it more. Divide up the cream among 8 dessert cups. Garnish with whipped cream and lime wedges if desired. Optionally, you can garnish the cream with a sprig of mint, with nuts or sliced bananas and strawberries, which complement the avocados very well.
