Prepare a marinade of pressed garlic, soya sauce, mayonnaise and seasoning for chicken. Spread over the chicken and let stand for 1 hour in the refrigerator to absorb the marinade. Meanwhile, cut the onion in crescents, grate carrots, and cut the peeled potatoes. Inside the chicken put half a lemon.
In an oiled pot on the bottom put the onion, carrot on top, then chicken and potatoes around it. Add salt to taste, sprinkle black pepper and spread butter over the dish.
Bake in a moderate oven until ready. Before being removed from the oven, cover the casserole, it can be removed to redden the chicken if necessary.
