Ingredients

  • carrots - 2 large
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • black pepper - to taste
  • salt - to taste

How to cook

Beat the soy sauce, sugar, lemon juice, olive oil well, add a little salt if necessary, plus ground black pepper. Clean the carrots and cut them into thin ovals at an angle.

Pour in the marinade, mix and leave in a covered container to stand for 1 hour, shaking the dish from time to time.

Preheat the grill and then grease it, arrange pieces of carrots and bake them on both sides until they get a caramel tan. Serve them as a side dish to game and other meats.
