You'll get a soft dough, leave it in a warm place for 1 hour. From the dough, roll out a sheet with a thickness of 1/2″ (1.5 cm). Cut out the desired shapes and arrange them with some spaces between them in a pre-greased and floured pan.
Glaze them with a mixture of cream and egg yolk. In the center of each, put 1 almond and bake.
Bake the gingerbread cookies in a preheated 356°F (180 °C) oven for about 35-40 minutes.
