Cut the meat into pieces. Cut the cabbage into small pieces and rub them with salt, taking care not to over-salt them.
Pour in about 1 cup water and leave on low heat, occasionally stirring gently, being careful not to mash the cabbage. Grate the tomatoes and add them to the dish once the cabbage and meat are done.
Add the spices and boil until the dish is left in just oil. Sprinkle with parsley.
