Ingredients

  • chicken - 9 oz (250 g)
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • bread - 2 pitas for doner kebab
  • oil - a few tablespoons
  • tomatoes - 4 slices
  • onions - 1/2 head
  • potatoes - 7 oz (200 g) fried
  • mayonnaise - 2 tbsp
  • yoghurt - 2 tbsp
  • mustard - for garnishing
  • ketchup - for garnishing

How to cook

Finely chop the chicken, sprinkle it with plenty of salt and pepper and brown it evenly in a pan with hot oil. Take out the cooked chicken and in the same pan, pour in 2 more tablespoons of oil.

Put the Arabic pita in and press down and rotate for a short while until it catches a light tan. Do the same for the second pita.

Put some chicken, fries, 2 slices of tomato and onion that has been chopped into thin crescents into each pita.

Mix a sauce of the yoghurt and mayonnaise and pour it in the doner. Wrap it up and serve with some ketchup and mustard.
