How to cook
Tenderize the steaks until doubled in volume, then fry them in a deep pan. Next, arrange them in a deep pot, with a non-stick coating if possible.
Put in one row of steaks, top with chopped mushrooms, carrots, black pepper and bay leaf and continue in this order until you run out of products. Be sure to have mushrooms and carrots at the very top.
Pour 2 cups of red wine and 1 cup cold water over them. Cook the dish for 3 hours on low heat. Optionally, garnish it with mashed potatoes or cooked rice. Enjoy your meal!
