Leave to boil a little. Make cream from 8 tablespoons butter, and 12 tablespoons of flour, while stirring over low heat. Add 4 1/5 cups (1 liter) milk and stir constantly, until the cream is thickened.
Add 2 eggs, well beaten, and salt to taste. In a medium pan, put half the macaroni. On them, spread the mixture from the pan and on it - the other half of the pasta. Pour all the cream over.
Top with a well-beaten egg. Bake at 392°F (200 °C) about 15 minutes. Serve cool and cut into portions.
