Ingredients

  • shrimp - 17.5 oz (500 g) cleaned
  • lemons - juice of 1 lemon
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • ginger - 1 - 2 tsp, grated fresh root
  • butter - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • turmeric - 2 - 3 pinches
  • garlic - 3 cloves, chopped, optional
  • parsley - 3 sprigs

How to cook

Mix the lemon juice and all the spices and marinate the shrimp for half an hour.

Heat the butter and put the drained shrimp to braise. When they begin to shrink, add the marinade, crushed garlic and sauté them until fully cooked.

Serve with finely chopped parsley.
