Put the milk to boil on the stove. During this time, beat the egg yolks with the sugar and add the flour dissolved in a little water. Pour in a cup of the warm milk to the mixture and blend with a mixer, to temper it.
Then pour this mixture in to the milk on the stove and stir until the cream thickens. Add the vanillas and once you remove the cream from the heat, mix in with the butter. Optionally, you can add egg whites beaten to snow.
Pour the cream into dessert bowls, which have been cooled with cold water and garnish as desired.
