"Every self-respecting cook needs to know how to make Bolognese Sauce. As for everyone else, they can stuff their face with pasta with Bolognese Sauce!"

Ingredients

  • mince - 10.5 oz (300 g) - half pork, half beef
  • carrots - 1.5 oz (50 g)
  • celery - 1.5 oz (50 g)
  • onions - 1 oz (30 g)
  • tomatoes - 5 tablespoons, mashed into sauce
  • white wine - 1/2 cup
  • milk - 1 cup
  • bacon - 1 - 2 slices

How to cook

Chop the bacon finely and stew it over low heat with the finely chopped carrots, celery and onions. Add the minced meat, wine and broth.

Once it comes to a boil, add the tomato sauce and stew for 2 hours; at the end, gradually add milk. Season to taste and pour it on tagliatelle or spaghetti.
