  • spinach - 26.5 oz (750 g)
  • cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • rice - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • black pepper
  • salt


Boil the cleaned, washed spinach in salted water, drain and chop it. Saute the rice in the oil, then pour hot water over it and boil until it softens a bit.

Add some of the cheese, grated coarsely, the black pepper and paprika. In a buttered baking dish, pour in half the spinach. Spread the rice over it.

Cover with the remaining spinach and grate the rest of the cheese. Then bake in a moderate oven.find similar recipes here
