Ingredients

  • spinach - 26.5 oz (750 g)
  • cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • rice - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • black pepper
  • salt

How to cook

Boil the cleaned, washed spinach in salted water, drain and chop it. Saute the rice in the oil, then pour hot water over it and boil until it softens a bit.

Add some of the cheese, grated coarsely, the black pepper and paprika. In a buttered baking dish, pour in half the spinach. Spread the rice over it.

Cover with the remaining spinach and grate the rest of the cheese. Then bake in a moderate oven.
