  • for the layers
  • eggs - 10 whites
  • sugar - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • walnuts - 1 2/3 cups (400 g) ground
  • for the cream
  • butter - 2 cups (500 g)
  • eggs - 10 yolks
  • milk chocolate - 1 2/5 cups (350 g) melted
  • sugar - 4/5 cup (170 g)
  • water - 2/3 cup (160 ml)
  • vanilla - essence drops

To prepare the layers, beat the egg whites to snow, gradually add the sugar to them. You need to get a thick and shiny consistency. Finally, pour the crushed walnuts in and mix well with a spatula.

Divide the mixture into 5 parts, bake each one separately in its own oven dish, covered with baking paper. Bake in a preheated 356°F (180 °C) oven for about 15-20 minutes.

To prepare the cream, boil a syrup from the sugar and water, add the crushed milk chocolate. Stir vigorously and continuously to make a smooth mixture. Remove from the heat and while the chocolate mixture is still hot, add one yolk, again while stirring.

Finally, add the vanilla and let it cool slightly. Beat the butter and gradually add the chocolate mixture to it. Beat well and put the first cake layer in a suitable oven dish. Smear it with cream, then add another layer, put cream again, etc. Finally, smear the cake thoroughly and evenly with cream.

Make decorations as desired, using coconut flakes, chocolate sprinkles, cocktail cherries, etc.
