How to cook
Peel the potatoes, wash them and cut them into pieces. Pour them into a suitable pan and add the finely chopped bacon. Salt and sprinkle these with nutmeg and pepper.
Blend the mayonnaise with sour cream (or fresh milk). Pour it over the potatoes and mix them. The dish has to bake in a moderate oven at 356°F (180 °C) for about 40 minutes, or until the potatoes are ready.
Serve the potatoes with bacon and mayonnaise with a little savory or crushed parsley, if desired.
