  • lamb - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • green onions - 5 - 6 sprigs
  • oil - 5 tbsp
  • paprika - 2 tsp
  • black pepper - 1/2 tbsp ground
  • salt - 1 tbsp


Prepare a mixture of oil, paprika and black pepper, salt and a cup of water. Stir until the spices dissolve. The portions of meat are rolled in it and arranged in a baking dish. Chop onion and put it on the portions.

Pour one to two cups of water into the tray, cover it with aluminum foil. Bake in preheated oven at 392°F (200 °C) for about 2-2 and 1/2 hours. The lamb is ready once it starts to separate from the bone easily.

Serve with a green, or any other, salad of your choice.
