How to cook
Sift the flour into a bowl and add to it the salt, sugar and oil. Mix the soda and baking powder in a small bowl with vinegar. Add them to the flour with cold water and knead a medium hard dough. Put it in a lightly greased tray and shape it with your hands, cover with a cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes in a warm place.
Then make two cross sections of the surface with a knife, brush with oil and sprinkle with optional oatmeal. Put to bake at 356°F (180 °C) for about 30 minutes. Towards the end, you can check its readiness with sticks.
Finished lean soda bread is sprinkled with some water and well wrapped with a cloth to brew.
