How to cook
Sift the flour into a large tray with the salt, gradually add softened butter and stir until you get crumbs. Then start adding 3/4 cups of warm water.
Shape the dough into a pita with a diameter of about 4 3/4″ (12 cm). Mexican tortillas are baked oil free, in a preheated skillet. Bake side 3 minutes on one side and 2 minutes on the other.
Serve them warm with a salty stuffing of various meats, vegetables, sauces.
