Mix the semolina, flour, sugar and baking powder and divide the mixture into three equal parts. Peel the apples and grate them on a coarse grater. Grease the tray and sprinkle it with flour.
First pour 1/3 of the dry mixture, distribute half the grated apples over it, and then sprinkle them with cinnamon. Place the dry mix, grated apples and cinnamon again, and end with the dry mixture. Pour 2/3 cup (150 ml) of oil or melted butter over the cake.
Put it to bake until golden brown at 356°F (180 °C).
