  • eggs - 6
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • honey - 1 tablespoon
  • oil - 1 cup
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - about 5 cups (1200 g)
  • plum jam
  • butter - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 g)
  • confectionery dye - yellow and red
  • crystal sugar - for rolling


Beat the eggs with the sugar, add honey, oil, baking soda and gradually knead the dough, while also adding flour. Mix a relatively firm dough and form it into small balls. Arrange in greased and floured oven dish and bake at 320°F (160 °C) in a preheated oven to pinking.

Mix the plum jam (or other jam but this is best suited) with the butter and a little warm water. Carve little beads in the middle and add their crumbs to the jam. With this mixture, glue together 2 balls at a time and repeat with all the rest.

Prepare the dye according to package directions - paint one of the peach halves orange and the other red. Roll in granulated sugar. Instead of synthetic dyes, you can use natural colors, such as red beetroot juice and carrots.
