How to cook
Knead all the products together, add flour so as to get a smooth and firm dough. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes. Roll out the dough into a sheet with a thickness of 1/8 (3 mm) and cut out triangles with a height of about 4″ (10 cm) and a base of 2″ (5 cm).
Optionally, you can cut out circles, squares or rectangles - whichever you like. In each, put a piece of Turkish delight, and some nuts if desired.
Wrap the wine cookies closed. Arrange them on a tray with baking paper and bake in a moderately hot oven to a pink hue.
Sprinkle them with plenty of powdered sugar, so as to cover all sides with a thick layer of it.
