Ingredients

  • apples - 4 , yellow - red
  • sugar - to taste
  • oil - for frying
  • flour - 2/3 cup (150 g)
  • fruit beer
  • eggs - 1 yolk + 2 egg whites
  • salt
  • powdered sugar
  • cinnamon - for sprinkling

How to cook

Beat the flour, 1 tbsp of sugar, the egg yolk, and some salt with fruit beer into a sludge. The sludge shouldn't be runny.

Leave it for 30 minutes in a warm area. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt into a hard snowy consistency and carefully add them to the rest of the mixture.

Cut the apples into slices 1/2″ (1 cm) thick, after removing the seeds.

Dip each apple slice well in the mixture and fry in an oil bath from both sides. Take the fried apple donuts out, drain and sprinkle with a bit of cinnamon and powdered sugar on top.
