Remove the heads and tails of the mackerels. Clean out their abdominal cavities and wash them thoroughly. Cut them into discs or into 2 fillets, but you can bake them whole, too.
Add salt and pour the tomato sauce over them. Add spices and sprinkle them with oil. Bake the fish at 356°F (180 °C) in a preheated oven, for about 30-40 minutes.
