  • pork steaks - 11 lb (5 kg) boneless
  • melted cheese - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • mushrooms - 7 oz (200 g) marinated
  • potatoes - 4 - 5
  • pickles - 6 - 7
  • black pepper
  • white pepper
  • salt


Tenderize the steaks and season them with salt and white pepper. Peel and cut the potatoes into slices. In a previously oiled skillet, arrange the steaks very close to one another, then on top stack the sliced melted cheese, mushrooms, pickles, and round potato slices.

Add another layer of steak, melted cheese, mushrooms and pickles, respectively. Add hot water in the pan, enough to cover the products, cover the dish with foil and put it in a preheated oven at 392°F (200 °C). As soon as the water boils, reduce to 329°F (165 °C) and bake for about an hour and a half.

Serve a portion of this holiday specialty pork, sprinkled with a little green onion.
