Ingredients

  • leg of lamb - 1 whole leg from a young lamb
  • honey - 2 - 3 tbsp
  • mustard - 2 tbsp
  • salt - to taste
  • black pepper - 1 tsp
  • paprika - 1 tbsp
  • spearmint - 1 tsp
  • rosemary - optional
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)

Preparation

Put the cleaned leg of lamb in a greased tray and salt it. Make a homogeneous thick blend by mixing the honey, mustard, black pepper and paprika, spearmint and other spices as desired, also adding in a few tablespoons of oil and some water.

Thoroughly brush the leg all over with this, cover and leave it to marinate for 2 hours.

Then brush it again, add a little water or wine into the tray, cover it with foil and put it in to bake in a low oven for several hours.find similar recipes here
