The pork is cut into large chunks. Flavor well with savory, paprika, black pepper, cumin and salt. Chop the onions and press the garlic. Cut the carrots into rings and mix with the onions and garlic. Pour oil evenly over the bottom of a pan.
Pour half the potatoes, that have been cut into cubes, and half of the vegetable mixture in it. Arrange the meat on top and cover with the remaining mixture. Add wine and two cups of water.
Roast the pork with potatoes on low heat for 2-3 hours. After it forms a crust, turn the meat over and add the remaining potatoes, that have been cut into medium-sized cubes. Roast for another hour.
