How to cook
Cut the meat into cubes of 1″ (3 cm), then cut up the onion rings. In a deep pan, fry the meat in butter until golden brown. During frying, season it with pepper and salt.
Broth and water are added, so as to submerge the meat. Also add the bay leaf and onions. Allow to boil, then reduce and let it simmer for about 3 hours. It will be ready when the meat begins to almost fall apart.
