How to cook
Clean and wash the rice thoroughly under running water.
Put it in a saucepan with the water and cook until it swells (to absorb all the water). At this point, add the milk with a pinch of salt, stirring periodically so it does not burn.
Once it boils again, add the sugar and vanilla, cook until the rice is completely cooked (softened). Remove from heat and distribute in bowls or cups.
While the rice milk cools, stir gently into each bowl with a spoon. This is done so that the rice does not stick to the pan. It needs to be fluffy like cream.
Serve the classic rice pudding completely chilled and sprinkled with cinnamon.
